Fireworks

We went to Duluth this year to see fireworks as we were camping in nearby Jay Cooke State Park. I'm posting this photo just for my sister, let's see if she checks it out before I get to her house!

The Quietness of a Small Town

Here are some images from our trip to Verdigre, NE. It's a quiet, unassuming small town in the sandhills of Nebraska. Time seems to pass by unnoticed here.

Ice on Lake Superior

The ice was piling up along the shore of the lake at Gooseberry Falls State Park. It was incredible to see and hear. The noise from the cracking ice was like nothing I've ever heard. And, yes it was very cold out there.
