Dehn's Garden

Today we went to Dehn's Garden and got a behind the scenes look at the greenhouses and how they grow amazing herbs! I really was planning to post an entirely different photo, but then I saw this one and just had to put it up.

My Grandmother's Shelf

I wish I knew the story behind this shelf. It looks to be handmade. It hung in my Grandmother's house for as long as I can remember.

Turkey in my Front Yard

I live in the city. Yet I have seen more wildlife in my backyard than I have in nature. Here's the list so far: deer, rabbits, possum, raccoon, squirrels, chipmunks, and the usual assortment of birds including woodpeckers, cardinals and now this turkey. I joke that my yard is a nature preserve, but maybe it really is!

Here is my cousin's daughter counting the eggs she found after the Easter egg hunt at my uncle's house. She was so excited since she had found the most eggs. I had a lot of fun helping her out.
