Today I was working on making my Easter Cards. I had a regular production line going once I figured out what I wanted to do. This is from one of my experiments while I was still not quite sure what I was doing yet.

Don't See This Everyday...

One of our neighbors had a visitor with a very big truck this morning. We (us and the lady upstairs) thought it was very odd indeed.

If These Dishes Could Talk...

I used to watch a show called If These Walls Could Talk. It was about the families that lived in the houses previously and what might have happened or what did happen there depending on how much information the current homeowner was able to gather. Each homeowner would start by showing what they found in their homes and then tell the story behind the item. 

I wish I knew the story of these dishes. Some of them belonged to Steve's Great-Grandmother.

Color Coordinated?

It's true, my closet is organized by color. My Mom thinks I'm crazy, but I love how it looks and how easily I find what I am looking for. Call me a geek if you like, but I like bein' organized:)

Frozen Cupcakes

I ate the last cupcake today - I really shouldn't of... so I pulled out some more to frost so Steve could have some for lunch. I laughed as soon as I pulled them out of the freezer when I saw them stuck together like this!

Just before I took this photo, I took a bunch of photos of the tulips that Steve brought home to me. Then  I sat back and relaxed a little figuring that I had something good for my blog. I looked out the kitchen window and this caught my attention. In the end this was more interesting, even though I really love tulips!

While I waited for Steve to finish getting gas for the car I took this photo. We got groceries and were waiting to be able to go home since we had a showing today after work. We are doing our best to wait patiently for our condo sell. May it sell soon. May spring come soon too.

Retro Baby!

While I labored away and cleaned my Mom's cupboard this weekend, I discovered these glasses. Pretty sure they belonged to my Grandmother originally - I just love them! They are my swanky new juice glasses!

Stuck in Stitches

Have you figured out what my new hobby is? I've been learning how to crochet and having a lot of fun at it. I just finished my first dishcloth tonight! After meeting with my friend I was trying to learn a new pattern and my ball of yarn got squished into the side of the couch as I was sitting there. I just liked how it looked.

House Plant - Part 2

It survives my lack of watering... when I get busy I tend to forget about the plants. This is the one that starts to look sad and tells me it is time to water all of them.

Triple Dog Dare

If Ralphie and Flick from the movie A Christmas Story, were outside today, I think it just might have been a triple dog dare you sort of day. Frost was everywhere, do you think your tongue would stick to the flag pole?

Here Comes the Sun

The last few days as I am leaving work the sun is actually still out, it has been such a wonderful thing, considering I spend most of my day in the basement of a building with few windows. 

I quickly too this photo as I was walking to my car thinking it was no good, until I compared it to the others I just took. Silly me, I should have looked at this sooner.

That's How the Petals Fall

My tulips fell apart today. This is what I saw this morning when I was throwing them away, more petals fell off and onto the floor. The color in the petals got brighter as the flowers started to die...doesn't quite make sense to me. 

Frost

Frost on my car windows this morning. Wish I could have zoomed in even more.

Icicles

There are a lot of icicles on our building right now, I even have a collection going on my car. They are forming everywhere! I looked up above our door and there are some seriously large and dangerous ones that are slowly melting - but these aren't those. That photo was no so cool - ha!

Snow

I it started snowing yesterday, and it is still coming down right now. Perhaps enough for a snow day?

Tulips

I bought flowers the other day since we had 2 showings over the weekend for our condo. May not have been a deciding factor for them, but it sure does make the house feel a little more like spring.

Albums

Today I've been making mini albums. Not sure what I am going to use them for yet, but they are so fun to make. Maybe I'll print out the photos I've been taking this year and make an album out of each month, could be kinda interesting.

Raspberries

I like to freeze berries for making smoothies. Yum!

Minneapolis by Night

This was taken as we were heading into downtown Minneapolis to go to church tonight. 

Blanket of Snow

At first glance or even second glance it may be hard to tell what this is exactly. In the spring it is a lovely flowering plant, right now it looks like a weed. I like the contrast of the bright, clean, new snow compared to the dried up branches. Snow makes it beautiful.

Stuff Around the House: Ceiling Fan

Apparently, I am doing a series on things around my house, I just did not realize it until now. This was never intentional, but with cold days and the sun disappearing before I get home, I end up looking around my house for something to photograph. I thought it would be interesting to capture motion today.
